Accommodation - Times - Food
Lorgill B and B is an extended traditional croft house design with
the old ruined black house far up on the croft.
The rooms available comprise:
A large double room with ensuite and a sitting area with
views across the loch to the cliffs and to the Outer Hebrides beyond.
A large twin bed room on the ground floor with a dedicated bathroom
and views across the loch to the cliffs and to the Outer Hebrides.
A small and cosy double room, with a toilet and basin and views up the
croft. Shower facilities are downstairs.
We welcome visitors from 4.00 pm until late and if requested, we
can show you to your room at an earlier time. Each room has a choice of teas, percolated or instant coffee. Fresh
milk is always available.
* Breakfast is at anytime that visitors wish it to be*.
A full breakfast or a Continental one is served and a substantial
packed lunch can be provided on request.
Vegetarian or vegan preferences
are available and if given notice, we can cater for other dietary
needs. Where possible, produce is seasonal, fresh and local to Skye in
particular, then more widely, Scotland.
Evening Meals
The Stein Inn possibly
the oldest Inn on Skye provide a selection of local ales and bar
meals throughout the day and have a small
resaurant where the tables can be booked in advance. Children are
welcome and there is a small play area for them.
The
Seafood Restaurant is for those who love seafood and want to
treat themselves. This is the favourite place of many trvavellers
and it is best to ensure a table by booking prior to arrival.
Both the Stein and the Seafood restaurant are within easy walking
distance.
Dunvegan, about eight miles away offers a range of eating places,
including the Old School House which is a family friendly
restaurant that caters for all.
